Helen-Louise Moore, MD, FAAP, FACP, a Pediatrician with Cornerstone Medical Pediatric Associates

The mission of Cornerstone Medical Pediatric Associates is to provide a warm, welcoming environment for children when they come in for an appointment. Their staff takes a true interest in the children, not only in their physical health, but also in their emotional, mental, and social health.

A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Moore completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.

A Fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and the American College of Pediatricians (FACP), the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

In her local area, Dr. Moore can be found on staff at Houston Medical Center and Perry Hospital.

Dr Moore has received local awards for Best Pediatrician and state awards including Doctor/Business of the Year. Dr Moore has also received the Jefferson Award, the nation’s highest award for service and she is internationally recognized as a Leading Physician of the World.

Dr. Moore has served in many Leadership positions, including Chief of Pediatrics, Chair of Medical Staff Performance Improvement, Medical Executive Committee, Physician Manager Pediatric Associates, President of Cornerstone Medical and Board Member of Houston Healthcare Systems

For the past 10 years, Dr Moore has volunteered to provide sports physicals for Special Olympics students in the Houston County school system and Houston County’s wheelchair sports team, the Sharks.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
